Life Lessons from a Hospital: If We Could See In Someone's Heart...

B'SD

26 Iyar, 5773

I saw this on Facebook and knew I must share it with you.

I've often wondered how medical professionals deal with the stress they find in their patients. Some doctors are heartwarming geniuses. Others... are not.

I remain sad that the woman whose cruel remark resulted in the first half of the title for

has never, to this day, realized that she reacts to ill people in a destructive, condescending manner. Utterly clueless.

A medical crisis - you'd cry too, if it happened to you. Use your tissues and handkerchiefs with my blessings borne of experience. GOD gives you Permission to Weep. And you can say that to any critics after explaining that "It's MY Crisis! And I'll Cry if I Need To."

Here's How YOU Can Help the Parents of a Desperately Ill Child!

B'SD

8 Iyar 5772

I read the article Parents Make a Bucket List for Their Baby with a Fatal Illness and simply could not go on with a business-as-usual day. I prayed for all of them and decided to ask you to join me.

Judaism teaches that GOD hears every prayer, paying special attention to those for someone else's welfare. Do what you can to ease the heartache of this child and her parents.

A medical crisis - you'd cry too, if it happened to you. Use your tissues and handkerchiefs with my blessings borne of experience. GOD gives you Permission to Weep. And you can say that to any critics after explaining that "It's a Crisis! And I'll Cry if I Need To." Read all about that on page 5 of EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge.

End Your Anxiety about Health Care Legislation

B'SD

14 Nisan 5770

Pesach/Passover begins tonight, several hours ahead of US time (Israel went into Daylight Savings Time last week). I'll be taking a weeklong blog break to savor the holiday with celebrations, hikes and quality time with friends.

Meanwhile, read the NY Times Wellness blogpost
Doctors Offer Thoughts on Cutting Health Care Costs.

The problem with those otherwise life-saving ideas is that it will take too much time for relevant legislation to pass. Who knows if they can hang on until 2014???

Here's an immediate solution to the problem!

Calm down with funny thoughts, uplifting ideas and doctor-recommended reading. SAVE BIG on healthcare costs with the extensive list of worldwide resources for free and low-cost medical care, medications, medical appliances and more when you read

The Audience LOVES This Book!

B'SD

23 Tamuz 5769

I spoke before a live audience yesterday, and WOW did my book sell there!

The event lasted much longer than planned due to interaction with the audience. Questions, solutions, lots of laughs even though we discussed disease, suffering and even death.

WHY were my listeners so upbeat despite the topics? Because they were reacting to my upbeat text and to my live comments that put things into perspective. A sense of purpose instead of random "Why ME?" misery that attacks out of nowhere soothed the crowd.

Want to feel better and become more capable at dealing with YOUR medical crisis? Read
