Adjuvant Therapy: Tailored-to-YOU Medical Treatment!

B'SD

21 Cheshvan, 5775

Sorry for my silence this week - I've spent lots of time connecting with interesting people and medical resources, plus traveling by train about the country. I've also invested time in learning some hi-tech techniques that I hope to use in the near future.

But let's focus on you, again.

One of the maddening, and terrifying, realities of medical treatment is that you, the patient, are left wondering why this doctor-recommended treatment or that would work, as if a One-Size-Fits-All solution is reliable.

The truth is, life does not have
One-Size-Fits-All
medical solutions.

Humanity comes with different genetic backgrounds and related medical realities. Some treatments will work, others not, with given populations.

We're also different from each other because of what we do or do not eat, breathe and drink. Medical treatment is affected by that, too.

There's more to the story, but I have a soothing resource to share with you. It was created by a man I know well and once worked with. And it solves the One-Size-Fits-All non-reality.

It's called Adjuvant Medical Solutions. Doctors are awed by its effectiveness in fostering tailor-made medical treatments to people with cancer and other chronic diseases.

Explore the site. Consider if it can help you, too.

And yes, it's featured in
the Global Resources section

Something Special in American Food

B'SD

[Feb 13 2012 - I'm pleased to let you know that this blogpost was shared at http://paper.li/GoodBlogPosts46/1318465543]

Sorry for my silence last week. This blog was hit by several hacking efforts and it took a while to clean things up. I had not intended to abandon you or to leave you wondering "What's going on?"

Let's get back to health.

This lesson in this TEDTalk video can probably save your life and/or the quality of your life. I recommend that you watch it to the end, then watch it again.

Want to learn another lesson on what pure foods can do for human health?

The food chain has been sullied around the world. Even if we move to a different country, we take the effects of those health-compromising chemicals along.

Read all about how becoming an organic vegetarian restored my sight after I'd been blinded and doctors lost hope of helping me to ever see again after a benign brain tumor had crushed my optic nerves.

They thought I was nuts. Then the doctors began to realize that that something was helping me to recover sight. GOD was certainly among those details ;^ D

I've been invited to interact with students at a neuro-rehab ophthalmology clinic next semester. My eyewear prescription has fallen many times in the past 7.5 years! Future doctors want to know why, and how they can help other people with the problems I'm overcoming.

The EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge book clues in readers how to help themselves physically, spiritually, emotionally and financially. Read it today!

Working on Wellness, One Color at a Time

B'SD

20 Iyar 5771

I spent some time volunteering at a local hospital's "Wellness Center" today, helping people on chemotherapy, in need of bone marrow transplants or other blood work, to feel better.

I met Bobo the Medical clown after helping a little girl to paint a picture (he usually wears a silly pink hat and tie, though his official photo looks rather serious)

and chatting with a woman who enjoys good jokes.

I can't cure anybody, but doctors know that happier people make more curable patients. Helping someone to smile is the major achievement of my efforts
;^ D

Check out the chapter in E-book "It's MY Crisis! And I'll Cry If I Need To: EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge" about how boring it is to be sick and more boring to sit around waiting to recover. Solutions are listed there. Readers and doctors use them!

The Cell Phone Poisoning of America and...

B'SD

21 Iyar 5770

I received some criticism of my concerns about cellphones, especially my fight against the 7 (and counting) cell phone towers in my small town. Here's the give and take of that online conversation:

Critic 1 - "what about people's in-house wifi? wireless links use more power and emit more radiation than cellphone antennae, something that bears looking into, if one is worried about such radiation."

Critic 2 - "That is a good point. It seems a bit hypocritical to fight someone else (who is making a lot of money) and companies (who are making a lot of money), whoare both really serving the community of those who want cellphone servicebecause of the health danger they impose if one self-imposes worse radiationdangers (wifi) themselves because it would be inconvenient otherwise!

(I wonder how far one can take that argument. For that matter, those who eatmargarine, butter and fats, and don't exercise are self imposing a healthdanger (cancer risk and other ailments), and perhaps it is not fair to causea loss of money to others if one is not really serious about guarding one'shealth in other areas when inconvenient ..)

Just food for thought(!) (I am not taking a position or stating anything definitive or clear-cut)"
_____

My response to both critics - "If a person chooses to eat something with battery acid, then wash it down with arsenic, does that mean that those of us who prefer not to have either chemical in our food chain must endure them because we like to eat? I have been warning readers against WIFI and cellphone + cellphone tower radiation for years. Just because I live in the neighborhood does not mean I wish to be exposed to other people's preferred poisons. YG"

Read this report,
The Cell Phone Poisoning of America. And know that it's not just the USA's problem.

Got a cell phone? Hang up on it. Permanently. Lose your WIFI too. Not all technology takes us forward.

Cellphone Tower Radiation Alert!

B'SD

20 Iyar 5770

The world will continue spinning on its axis if we rely on landlines and hang up our cellphones forever. Check out these informational articles by medical researchers:

This Cell-Phone Towers: How Far is Safe? epidemiological study examined people living within 350m of a long-established mast in the Israeli town of Netanya. Researchers found a four-fold (sound familiar?) increase in cancer compared with the general population of Israel and a TEN-Fold increase in cancer in women compared with those outside the 350m zone in Netanya.

If you live 1/4 mile from a cellphone tower
look out!

If You Work with Formaldehyde, You Need to Know This!

B'SD

20 Iyar 5769

The NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH NIH and the National Cancer Institute (
NCI) released some important news this past Tuesday. Click on:

for the full report.

Be sure to pay attention to this paragraph:
"Formaldehyde is widely used for industrial purposes and as a preservative and disinfectant. The International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies this chemical as a human carcinogen, based primarily on its association with nasopharyngeal cancer. In 1995, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration estimated that approximately 2.1 million workers in the United States were exposed to formaldehyde."

If you've worked with or near formaldehyde, contact your doctor for regular monitoring of you health. And do make dedicated efforts to minimize the danger to your welfare.
