B'SD
9 Av 5770
Today is a very sad day on the Jewish calendar, Tisha B'Av. It commemorates the destruction (yet again) of Jewish lives and our holy Temple/Bet HaMikdash by people who despise morality.
However, Torah-observant Jews are ever-optimistic. We believe in The One Above's promise of a blessed future.
I am just now
experiencing
evidence of that
beautiful potential.
I'm weeping in relief and pleasure at kindnesses coordinated in a hurry. They're helping some families to recover from their devastating medical and emotional situations in different spots on the globe. I initiated relevant contacts for all concerned and hope to teach the world at large:
ONE PERSON
can accomplish a lot!
can accomplish a lot!
Reflect on what
the parties need,
how you can help to
meet those needs,
and DO THAT.
It's not about genius.
It's about compassion,
a careful assessment
of what's needed,
of what can be done
and
of how to do more.
Create a beautiful future
for someone who needs it.
Let's call the phenomenon
The OTHER Butterfly Effect.
Face Your Medical Problems with Dignity.
Face Your Future with Optimism.
