Travel Warning: H1N1 Spreading "Too Fast"

Back on May 4 I warned you about H1N1's spread and contradictory advice appearing in mainstream media. I also gave you a map for watching H1N1's globetrotting spread.

On May 8 I sent this E-mail to some acquaintances. I've held back from sharing it with you, but now I sense a need to go public with the frightening message:

Influenza A(H1N1) - update 186 May 2009 --

As of 16:00 GMT, 6 May 2009,
23 countries have officially
reported 1893 cases of
influenza A (H1N1) infection.

No rationale for travel restrictions
1 May 2009 --
WHO is not recommending travel restrictions related to the outbreak
of the Influenza A(H1N1) virus.

Now, if an innocent child knew that a
specific illness is spreading throughout
the world because travelers from
Ground Zero (Mexico, in this case) carry and spread it wherever they go,
then that child would decide (rationalize) to stop leaving home.

But WHO, the international health organization, can't put those 2 dots together.

OY.

Readers, I beg you: reconsider your travel plans if you're making any. Why? Because of this disturbing headline:

Swine Flu Spreading too Fast to Count, CDC Says...
If long-respected medical institutions don't issue effective - or worse, issue inconsistent - safety precautions, YOU and your loved ones could become unwitting victims of bad advice.

THAT could be a deadly mistake.

Be conservative. Stay home. Travel AFTER the contagion problem is over.

Proof that long-distance travel is endangering human health is in alarmingly evident supply. But sensible and mutual conclusions by venerated medical institutions are not.
