This is the sort of news I always wanted to share when I was a reporter: The heartwarming side of life.
Patients from Sophia Children's Hospital watched the ADO Den Haag and Feyenoord FC soccer game yesterday, and were treated to a screamfest as soft, cuddly objects fell from the sky upon them. Team rivalry? Hardly.
It was a warm show of support regarding their quests for health. The visiting ADO Den Haag fans had known ahead of time that the special guests would be sitting directly under the home team Feyenoord FC's section. The rival teams' fans shouted their support of the children, while gifting them with stuffed animals. Everybody on both sides had a heartwarming time.
Give someone an attack of the healing warm fuzzies.
