US Vaccine Injury Court AGAIN Rules that Vaccines Caused Autism!

Parents of babies and toddlers, listen up:

The US Vaccine Injury Court recently ruled for THE SECOND TIME that vaccines caused Autism! Yes, this is baffling, a contradiction of other court decisions. Read an account of what happened by clicking Compensation Given to family of Bailey Banks for Vaccine-induced Autism.

The lingering question of
"What are safe,
alternative methods
of preventing
Measles, Mumps and Rubella
(the MMR in the vaccine named

versus vaccinations that

life-altering problems?"
is frightening.

Parents and pediatricians
concerned about the
possible connection
need answers to the question.

So far, the answer is "There aren't any known safe alternatives."

The need for research on making vaccines safer rather than failing to address the "autism from vaccinations" issue persists. Some medical professionals advocate separating the MMR into three separate vaccines, with each virus given separately.

I'll be delighted to share the solution with you once I learn of it.

I posted about suspected causes of autism not so long ago. You may have noticed the topic going in and out of the news headlines in recent weeks. But this breaking story - it happened late Monday US time - does not seem to have raised all that much attention. It should:

I hope you'll click on the link above, read the article and realize that scientists are acting on their suspicions about a mercury - autism connection, not just the reference to mercury's other effects "... liver damage, memory loss or disturbances to vision.".

My book's "Resource" section lists contact information for individuals who offer rehabilitation services for autistic people plus information about how to find therapists for various problems.

Until we have a cure AND a preventative for autism via routine childhood innoculations, that's all that my present manuscript can offer. Perhaps by the time a second edition comes out, I'll be able to list the means for ridding someone of this perplexing and complicated problem, and how to avoid it altogether.

The Measle, Mumps, Rubella Vaccine Debate Revisited

Someone in Israel just alerted me to information about the MMR and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) controversy. Chaya Lottner (referenced in my forthcoming book) summarizes a recent lecture by gastroenterologist Dr Arthur Krigsman:

Many physical and behavioral symptoms of ASD individuals can be traced to belly pain. After appropriate treatment, the symptoms can disappear.

There are abnormalities found in ASD individuals throughout the entire GI tract from the mouth through the end of the colon. Diagnosis is done by endoscopy, colonoscopy and capsule camera. Treatment can involve antibiotics, acid reducers, anti-inflammatories, etc and is based on the findings on the tests.

Things that can help without the above testing:

*Change Flora of intestines
*Restrictive Diets
*Use of Enzymes

MMR: The debate that won't go away:

The vaccine hypothesis was bolstered recently by a five-year study inmonkeys who were given the same vaccinations that American children areroutinely given. Last week, Dr Laura Hewitson, a specialist inobstetrics, gynaecology and reproductive sciences at the University ofPittsburgh, told the International Meeting for Autism Research in Londonthat in the double-blind placebo-controlled study, 13 vaccinated animals showed increased aggression, impaired cognitive skills and developmentaldelay.

The three unvaccinated animals in the study developed normally.

"There was a significant difference between the two groups," said Hewitson. "The vaccinated group had trouble developing reflexes... They also became more insular and more aggressive. There was an increase inaggressive behaviour after they had their MMR vaccines, and they stopped exploring their surroundings as much."

Abnormal brain activity was found in the monkeys, and higher sensitivityto a naturally occurring brain chemical linked to sleeplessness, hallucinations, lack of social skills and a high pain threshold - all symptoms found in children on the autistic spectrum.

The monkeys also exhibited abnormalities of the amygdala, the part of the brain which regulates emotions."We can't conclude that vaccines cause autism from this study," said Hewitson, "What we can conclude is that the vaccinated monkeys showed significant negative behavioural differences before and after the MMR."

Note from Yocheved: I have not researched the above topics, but I am aware that scientists are not perfect, that painful questions remain about the safety of specific vaccines because some people have suffered lifelong from symptoms of autism AFTER receiving MMR vaccination. Suspicions regarding a vaccination connection are not easily resolved. I advocate research designed to identify the cause-effect of certain vaccines and autism.
