An Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Progress Update

B'SD

27 Tamuz, 5776

I apologize for my absence from cyberspace. I've been busy researching medical issues, studying advanced medical vocabulary in Hebrew so I can assist the translation efforts of people who need such a service, helping patients in various ways and arranging some social events. But, now I'm back with what I hope is a breath of fresh hope for people with a specific, quite serious medical problem.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is an agonizing medical problem that manifests as colitis, ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's Disease (CD).

I've spend the past few months researching the problem with medical professionals. I found information that might fill IBD patients with hopes for an imminent cure if not significant relief from their painful, often incapacitating problems:

Medical Miracle in the making? See http://healthlivetips.org/finally-new-vaccine-hope-to-complete-cure-crohns-disease/

Scotland seems to be leading the way in improving health care services for people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

“The goal should be a return to normality rather than normalising a poor quality of life.”
Crohn's and Colitis UK has worked collaboratively to launch a new National Blueprint to improve IBD healthcare in Scotland - the first of its kind in the UK. Read more about how the Blueprint will improve services:http://bit.ly/298wLpl

Patients living with an incurable condition will see an overhaul of how treatment is delivered due to UK-first guidelines to tackling patchy care for rising numbers of people with a debilitating bowel disease.

Diabetic Inflammation and Solution Alert!

B'SD

28 Elul 5769

Many diabetics don't need to read this headline to know it's true:

The good news is that EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with Medical Challenge references someone who helps diabetics to heal. And the book includes her contact information!

Enjoy your reading time ;^ )

I have a question for you, readers: "What's the one question that none of your medical professionals answer, to your great disappointment?"

PS - the next time I post will be in the new Jewish year of 5770. Shana tova umetuka (a sweet new year) to my Jewish readers!

Why Chocolate is GOOD for Your Heart!

B'SD

25 Tishrei 5769

I always advocate "feeding my inner giggle." Today I just might feed yours ;^ )

One of my "Recommended Links" goes to chiropractor Dr. Reuven Rosenberg's blog, and WOW does he ever have a deliciously good post today!

NOW I know why I crave chocolate, chocolate mousse, deep dark chocolate, Cafe Hillel Kubiyot Chocolade (GAWD are they good! I even lick the powder off my plate), and why I have a reputation for having a "good heart." I've been nurturing my inner chocoholic - and it's GOOD for me! Mmmmm, I feel healthier already. Pass the hot fudge sauce, please...

Have a happy weekend and be sure to BUY MY BOOK so you can learn more yummy tips for better health and healing. Read it with a cup of hot cocoa handy. The weather's turning cold...

To your good health,
