One of the ways that I ask people to take their disrupted lives back is to pursue rewarding activities. Do things that leave you smiling a long time later, no matter the medical problem.
I do that by indulging in a sewing and craft hobby I'd had years ago. I recently picked up my tools and started it anew.
I'm enjoying the irony of making lovely hand-sewn evening bags with a friend. And to laugh with even more joy from the "I'm doing this despite my vision deficit" effort, we call the line of products BagLaydeez Productions. The irony is delicious fun. Women buy the bags almost as soon as I show off the latest creation.

Your bags are stunning! They have shape and texture. You don't need perfect vision. They are in a higher dimension.
What a WONDERFUL compliment, Batya. Thank you!
