October is Breast Cancer Prevention month!

B'SD

21 Tishrei, 5778

October is breast cancer awareness month, organized and publicized by various breast cancer charities, but this is an article worth reading any time. And notice that the article cites the need to ban toxins from your body. Keep them out of your furniture, food and wardrobe.

MEN: You are also susceptible to breast cancer. Use the ideas mentioned in the article to protect your health, too.

Going organic isn't just a breast cancer preventative. It restored my eyesight! It saves lives stricken by many illnesses.

Consider the blogpost just before this one, because it holds an important idea related to the information above:

When Byron Katie, Steven Covey, Tony Robbins, Caroline Myss or any motivational speaker addresses how to cope with life, ALL of them accentuate ACCEPTANCE.

As Byron Katie teaches, “When you argue with reality, you lose, but only 100% of the time.”

Need to learn how to rid your life of toxins, including emotional varieties? There are important, can-do lessons for that in the E-book and print edition of EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge

Protect Your Breast Health with Good Sense and FACTS You Need to Know

B'SD

18 Tishrei, 5773

I'm celebrating the week of Sukot, and taking a break to update this blog with news you need to know. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Men get breast cancer, too, but many men and women don't know that, or how best to discover breast tumors. I prepared a news article for the occasion and submitted it for review to medical experts.

A medical professional who'd read over my pending feature story about alternatives to potentially cancer-causing breast mammograms remarked "Thank you for your good work at increasing breast health awareness... it sounds very professional."

If things go as planned, the article goes live next week, right after Sukot. Stay tuned for news you need to know.

Meanwhile, click on Ten Israeli Advances in Fighting Breast Cancer.

Does the thought of breast cancer upset you? That's normal. A medical crisis - you'd cry too, if it happened to you. Use your tissues and handkerchiefs with my blessings borne of experience. GOD gives you Permission to Weep. And you can say that to any critics after explaining that "It's MY Crisis! And I'll Cry if I Need To. Read pages 4 and 5!"

Coffee and Chemo and YOU

An acquaintance of mine, RivkA Matitya aleha hashalom (may her soul be blessed with peace), died of her cancer just before Shabbat began in Israel.

Rather that describe my impressions of her to you, I ask that you access RivkA's blog
http://coffeeandchemo.blogspot.com and the videos posted there. Learn of her courage on your own. Absorb the life lessons she teaches.

Walk Around the World for Brain Tumors

Here’s an interesting update about Brain Tumor Awareness Week (I alerted you to the event some time ago):

Once again, this blog and my book have helped someone facing a medical challenge to feel emotional relief. Professor Celene Bernstein, one of the people associated with that Breast Chek kit featured on my October 8 2007 post, contacted me. We’ve corresponded quite a bit about a serious medical problem in her family. She bought my book. And she’s delighted with the references about coping with Multiple Sclerosis in the RESOURCES section of my book. Here’s a message from Professor Bernstein:

DEAR Yocheved, You are so special! thank you for all your e-mails. I am rather busy at work today, but will contact [that] nutritionist and will come back to you regarding organising something on T.V. I know about [author] Lauren Singer. I did have a chat with her. She too is amazing - so positive etc. …

Regards,
Prof. Celene Bernstein

Professor Bernstein intends to share the book with her family member who needs it.

Stay tuned. You might see us together on South African television shows. Professor Bernstein is working on it. This book and blog are going global in many ways.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

26 Tishrei 5768

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'm posting news about 2 items: One is an invitation to click on http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/ and to help underprivileged American women to receive free mammograms. The second item is an innovative product to help men and women to detect lumps in their breasts. Yes, men can experience breast cancer too.

Here's some information about the Breast Chek Kit, from Professor Celene Bernstein:

"Please also take a look at this link below to view the breast chek video. You will be impressed with what you see. The purpose of this breast self examination kit is 'early detection saves lives.

"The breast chek kit is advertised by agents having a website. Mine is www.plexuspink.com/59947. This will be for S.Africans who want to purchase the kit. My E-mail address is http://celene.bernstein@plexuspink.com

Neil Aremband's website (United Kingdom) is neil.aremband@plexuspink.com. His website is http://www.plexuspink.com/96760.
