Poison in the House!

B'SD

27 Kislev, 5779

I warned you, I warned you, I warned you about synthetic chemical dangers. AND I warned you about mainstream medical professionals who pooh-poohed the claims of natural living enthusiasts DESPITE our documented medical evidence of the problem.

Now there's a widespread problem from synthetic chemicals, in homes where this poison has been used.

INVERSE.COM
"We are starting to have enough information about them to certainly be concerned."
Girls aren't the only victims of synthetic household chemicals. Ever noticed boys and men with pronounced breasts/bosoms? That's called gynecomastia. It results from hormonal imbalances that can be caused by synthetic chemicals in hygiene and other household items. There's more to the story, though.

Dairy foods are packed with mama animal's hormones so that her youngsters will grow quickly and heavily. Those animal-oriented hormones wreak havoc on humans who swallow them.

Weight control becomes problematic though it needn't be.

"Boy boobs" happen.

So do infertility problems when Mama animal's hormones clash with human varieties.

Dump the dairy foods. There's plenty of other delicious stuff to eat and drink.

Rid your home and life of synthetics, too.

Cleansing and caring for yourself with simple soap and water is a doable reality. Use natural fabrics in your clothing and furniture: Cotton, flax, hemp, silk, wool, etc.

and even more at Reduced Fertility In Women Linked To Low Fat Dairy Food.

I realize that you might need to
catch your breath after reading the above
but those snippets are not the full story.

There's more information about how the things that westerners take for granted are harming human health. You can learn about that in libraries, the Internet, your doctor's office, and elsewhere.

Does Your Baby's Diaper Pose Health Dangers? Do Your Hygiene Products?

B'SD

2 Shvat, 5776

It's the Jewish month of Shvat, as I wrote earlier, and time to focus on wholesome nature.

I've blogged before about the dangers posed to the public by manufacturers who add health-harming chemicals into hygiene, cosmetic and household products, here, here, here, and elsewhere.

Think your feminine hygiene products are safe, ladies? Think again.

A scientist and friend just sent me a link to update you about the threats to your whole family's health. You need to read

By the way, if your child wears disposable diapers with a gel to absorb moisture so that you can do fewer diaper changes, ask yourself "Is the convenience worth a risk of causing cancer or other health problems in my little one?" Even non-gel dipes are problematic.

Health food shops carry non-threatening hygiene products.

Gripe all you want about the price, but consider the cost-effectiveness about dealing with cancers that could have been avoided for a bit more money at the cash register.

Go ahead, look all over the Internet for glyphosate-free and other toxin-free hygiene products. They're on the market.

Are there only 3 Options for Taking Advantage of the ICD10 Delay? Or 4?

B'SD

17 Nisan, 5774

Within the medical industry, there's an enduring debate about the merits and upside of the i10 delay. This one is entitled 3 ways providers can take advantage of the ICD-10 delay.

Dontcha just LUV this quote:

"From a hospital perspective, enough already," Linda Reed, vice president and chief information officer at Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health, told FierceHealthIT. "We've spent the money, done the work and started all the training. From a physician practice perspective, I'm not sure giving another year would make any difference in readiness. The extension from 2013 to 2014 didn't."

Those words made me think of two very different scenarios and the motivations behind them:

  1) Doomsday preppers who shuddered as the clock struck midnight on the last day of 1999...

  2) The purpose of procrastination, and its inevitable result...

Neither scenario relates to productive results.

People tend to find out that they can cope with reality once they decide to deal with it. That tends to lead to better and better consequences.

Read the rest of the 3 Options story,

then ask your legislators what they're doing to redress the ICD10 implementation delay.

By the way, I've identified a fourth option for taking advantage of the ICD10 delay: Learning from the mistake.

There's more good reading in

Testicular Cancer Resource

B'SD

10 Cheshvan 5771

Men, I'm pleased to share this information with you:

The Testicular Cancer Resource Center
http://tcrc.acor.org/

While you're studying it, make a note to read something I shared at LinkedIn only hours ago:

... I advocate the use of superb nutrition
while or instead of pursuing medical
procedures. The effects of nutrition
have been observed for thousands of
years. Their trials are over.

Dr. Dean Ornish reverses heart disease
with food and lifestyle changes instead
of cardiac procedures. Other medical
trailblazers do likewise.

Choosing low-tech lifestyle changes
is risky, frightening and a personal
judgment call.

It's not a sure thing in any manner.
But documented evidence proves that
alternative healing/prevention
techniques do succeed.

I'm marketing a feature story I wrote
about extremely effective low-tech
solutions for making the most of the
remaining vision in brain-injured
patients. The lesson of the medical
experts quoted in my piece is this:
Western medicine too often opts for
expensive procedures and/or
medications when less lucrative,
equally or more effective solutions
exist. Patients are not necessarily
fully informed of those low-cost,
low-risk and high-yield options.

Medical practitioners are pressured
to make sustainable incomes as
insurance companies pull their
financial chains.

It all makes for a moral mess...

You need people to cooperate with you, to help with your healthcare. But they complain that you're moody, short-tempered and forgetful (Who wouldn't be in this situation?). And medical expenses are on everybody's nerves right now aren't they?

End the problems. Take some uncertainty, complaining and whining out of your medical life. Get your grin back. Save money on the information in

National Infertility Awareness Week

B'SD

13 Iyar 5770

I could have realized something was up when I received E-mails and phone calls the past few days, asking me what I recommend for infertility problems, menopause and other hormonal issues. WOW Americans are tuned in to commercial messages!

Er, that's part of the problem. Commercials tout the wonders of hair care products, milk, and coffee, among other heavily advertised goods.

Each of those items hold synthetic hormones wreaking havoc with your health. You can learn more about that by scrolling around this blog.

Anyway, I was tipped off to the existence of National Infertility Awareness Week when I glanced at my Facebook page this morning. Sheesh. If the link doesn't work, you can see the item after joining Facebook.

Want to fill that empty crib?
Cuddle a little loved one
cooing in your arms?

Go organic (no nasty nightmares about unsuspected health hazards) and restore healthy function to your reproductive equipment. You can learn more about that when you read EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge.

Help for Postpartum Depression

B'SD

25 Tevet 5770

Postpartum Depression is more than a double-whammy. The woman already physically stressed out by birthing a baby must now tend to the helpless child while her mind is assaulted by a hormone surge she can't control. Feeding, bathing, diapering, cuddling and dressing the infant require clear-headed thinking, time and energy, the things poor mom seems to have in a frighteningly low supply.

If other children are in the home, and if the fathers are oblivious to the issues or unaware of how to be helpful, the mother's problems can add up unbearably.

Here's some good news about that scary scenario.

I've reviewed a marvelous book and despite its title, it serves the needs of women of any religion. The authors simply addressed some cultural realities within the Jewish world when they wrote:

Delivery from Darkness: A Jewish Guide
to Prevention and Treatment
of Postpartum Depression

A comprehensive look at the emotional, physical, psychological and medical realities of PPD, this book explains the hormonal cascade happening during pregnancy, birth and recovery. The effects of that cascade have nothing to do with willpower, evil or goodness. The chemical reality is all on its own.

The manuscript explains PPD's low to high levels of severity, how to recognize the symptoms and how to cope with them. The personal stories in the text can relieve PPD sufferers of their senses of undeserved guilt.

Prepared by mental and medical health professionals who've experienced PPD or are professionally familiar with it, this book is a must-read filled with solutions, preventatives and coping mechanisms. Published by Feldheim, Delivery from Darkness can literally save lives.

Cry if you need to. And learn to dry your tears. THAT can help you to EMPOWER Yourself to Cope with a Medical Challenge.

Air, Food and Water Pollution Harms Your WHAT?????????

B'SD

11 Kislev 5769

Sighhhh... I've clued you in to the value of organic foods, invited you to a global summit on natural hormone therapies that solve many medical problems, alerted you to the dangers of melamine in your baby's bottle and yet...

Some of my book and blog readers remain skeptical. Ya kinda wonder if I'm giving advice that could apply to you, too. Well, check this out, fella:

(I tidied up the text of that link with G-rated vocabulary)

Remember Dr. Yaffa, who ran that Bioidentical Hormone Information Summit advertised in my book and blog? He tells me "My male patients have hormone weakness. In my internet seminar one doctor quoted the statistic of how low the sperm count has gotten; just one notch lower is deemed infertile (while many men are there already)." sigh... Now, back to MY comments:

If you're wondering how to enhance your chances of fathering children, living a healthier life and anything else pertaining to stable hormones, start asking questions of your doctor, of local organic food sellers, and of librarians who can point you out to relevant information. Sometimes you can learn so much more with a good book
(LIKE MINE) than you can on the 'Net.

Interested in ending the prospect of PMS and hot flashes for female patients? Eager to resolve other hormonally-related problems simply, permanently, and without synthetic drugs?

A journalist in addition to being an author, I often write about good news in the medical world: innovations, successes, cutting-edge practitioners/ methodologies, etc. Dr. Joel Yaffa is one of the doctors listed in the "RESOURCES" section of my book. He recently made me aware of an unusual opportunity to improve the treatment of hormonally-based health problems and I'm sharing it with you.

The BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY SUMMIT will inform lay and professional participants of non-invasive, biologically compatible solutions that solve hormonally-based problems. BHRT ends lingering hormonal problems and the need for protracted medical interventions.

Dr. Yaffa's Brief Biography, in his own words (BTW, he's listed in the "RESOURCES" setion of my book) – "I switched over from ‘conventional’ medicine to ‘alternative’ medicine 10 years ago, when my son was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. I saw that parents from the Far East came to Sloan Kettering for their children's treatments, sneaking herbs and potions into their kids when the oncologist wasn't looking. I began my search to compliment my son's care (against medical advice). My son, thank G-d is now 13 years old.

"My full-time BHRT practice in Israel is a direct result of that experience. I'm the only physician in Israel practicing with BHRT (talk about solo practice). There are presently 12 compounders in Israel filling my prescriptions.

"Though I have been interviewed many times in the main Israeli newspapers and magazines and interviewed on television about BHRT, the vast majority of the local population is still unaware of the choices available for them. My best advertisement so far has been word-of-mouth from ecstatic patients. My BHRT colleagues in the States concur: it is a struggle to get the word out. So I decided to organize an internet educational seminar to be given by the experts on the subjects that people need to hear about, in language that they can understand (simple English in this case). This enables...

1. … more people to easily learn about helping themselves with a more healthful approach than they’ve used previously. Large numbers of people can easily access the online program instead of being limited to scheduling or traveling problems. The program can be repeated with different speakers and different topics every 3-4 months.

2. … doctors to build their patient base rather easily. As current patients of practicing BHRT doctors feel validated by hearing experts corroborate what their personal physician has told them, they will be happy to share this reliable, easily obtained information with their families and friends, thereby increasing the numbers of patients who are looking for these services.

3. … participating physicians (approximately 3,500 are registered at present) who are excited to be sending the "World BHRT Summit" to link to their patient base as desired. Professional organizations for doctors, pharmacists and neutraceutical companies can do the same.
